Randparkridge

The Boschkop nature reserve still has it's place on the skyline if you travel in a North Westerly direction from the city centre of Johannesburg. It is this park and it's dominant ridge which has lent itself to the naming of the suburb.

Randparkridge is conveniently close to community shopping centers which will meet the daily and emergency needs of people living in the area. The larger Shopping malls of Cresta and Clearwater Mall are only a few minutes drive away, as is the local Randridge mall.

As a fairly new suburb of Johannesburg, development of Randpark ridge as a suburb began in the 1980's and as a result still has a number of open spaces, functioning as parks or reserves where the fauna and flora are managed and these areas are maintained. However insect life is a whole different ballgame and on more than one occasion a bee remover has had to be called to remove a swarm of bees from a pool pump housing. The number of swimming pools in the area definitely contributes to the frequency of this happening. Bees are likely to make their home in the pool pump housing as it is quiet and there is virtually no disturbance, enabling them to build the hive in peace.

Randpark ridge offers it's residents primary and high school, both public and private, thus allowing you to give your child the best education as close to home as possible.

Bee season is during spring and the warm months of summer. Don't have your holidays disrupted by a swarm of bees. Have them removed quickly and safely and you can get on with the festivities.
