Northcliff high school bears the distinction of having had a 100% matric pass rate and is rated amongst the top schools in the country and stands out as a feeder school for the University of Johannesburg. Situated in the verdant suburb of Northcliff, Johannesburg. This school has a solid reputation that has pupils and parents alike, queuing for hours to get a place in the school.

Northcliff does not only have a good school to offer. It is one of Johannesburg's more affluent and settled suburbs. The gardens are established and generally quite large, which is definitely a positive addition to reputation Johannesburg has cultivated as the worlds largest man made forest.

If you really want to take in the sights and the greenery Northcliff Hill is a wonderful vantage point. From your perch you will be able to see most of the North-Western suburbs and take in an unobstructed view of Johannesburg city centre and really get to see how large a park the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens/Emmarentia dam really is. The hill itself has a variety of vegetation and as a result the animal and insect life is equally varied.
